We will go wandering in the school yard, taking in the nature around us as we go.

We'll end up at the picnic table, where we'll sit and come up with some examples of living things around Yandeyarra, and of what eats what; we'll write these all onto a big piece of card and keep it in the classroom.

In this way, before we really talk about ecosystems (during the Teach Live week), we will see what sort of a 'web of life' we can come up with for Yandeyarra.

At the end of this unit of ecosystems, we can compare what we know then with what we came up with in this lesson, and I hope that we'll see that we've learnt something!
