1. Sit around the group sharing desk.

2. Each student gets an Echidna Fact Sheet (on one side = full version, other = with blanks/missing words to fill in).

3. Taking turns and with the help of Miss Tanya, each student reads an echidna fact aloud, until all the facts are read (or stop if it's taking too long!)

4. Spend a couple of minutes circling any words you've never seen before (maybe you can ask me the meaning of any science words on the Teach Live Forum).

5. Go back to your own desk.

6. Fill in the blanks on the back, using the full version to help you.

7. Talk about the answers as a class.
