After dinner we went down to Brown Beach on a night walk to see if we could come across any Fairy Penguins. When we got there we walked through the sand dune vegetation. We could hear the penguins under the thick scrub, but we couldn't see them. Walking along the beach we came across one coming up to the dunes from the ocean. Mike picked it up and explained the different parts of its body and their functions. While we were down at the beach we also studied the night sky, it was fascinating.
