When we woke up this morning we had a strange lump on the roof of our tent. At first we thought it was the tent cover rolled up, then it moved. We could see these little paw imprints and a tail outline through the tent roof. A possum had crawled up between the tent cover and the tent. This was a great place to spend the day snoozing.

Today we disected an echidna that had been killed out on the road. We measured and weighed various parts of both the external and internal parts of the body. It was interesting to see how long the echidnas tongue was. The tongue can be up to 17cm long, wow!
