hello mr simons.how long does the echidnas live for.
and bring one back for us to have a look at make in up.

Peggy has been working with the echidna, Big Momma (the one that we caught the other day) for 18 years, and she reckons that she's at least 40, maybe 50 years old. I don't think scientists really know how long an echidna normally lives, but Peggy said that they live 50+ years.
