To Mr Emrose
Hello, I am looking forward to you coming back next week. Could you please bring back some goanna?
QUESTION: Does the Echidna have teeth and what does it eat? How fast do they move?
Thank you Katelyn FRANK

Hi Katie
Sorry its cold here and the goannas are scarce. Echidnas don't have teeth but they have a 17cm tongue which whips in and out with ants, termites and grubs they dig up. They grind these up using a hard pad at the base of their tongue and a lot of hard ridges on their palate. Get Miss Scott to explain what the palate is. Great questions Katie, thanks.
