Christmas Island is a dot in the Indian Ocean, located 2600km northwest of Perth, Western Australia. It's closest neighbour is Java 360km away. 63% of the island is national park which contains species of flora and fauna found nowhere else in the world. Our most famous residents are the Red Crabs, which with a population of over 100 million, far outnumber our 1500 Chinese, Malay and European population.
Christmas Island District High School has approximately 350 students from K-12. It is a safe and happy school that respects and values it's environment, cultural diversity and community.
